Webcrawlers Successfully Implemented

The news everyone wanted to hear was given on todays update. Progress is definately happening. Here is what the update said.

NOTE: NEXT WEEK ALL PAYOUTS, PROFIT SHARING CALCULATIONS WILL BE DONE 1 DAY EARLIER. Make sure that you have requested your payouts no later than Tuesday evening (Nov 2nd).

Everyone can breath easier… Kooday’s custom made crawlers have been successfully implemented!

On Oct 28th Kooday has successfully implemented our web crawlers to function in unison with our existing website. Instead of just being a simple directory of websites with no relevant search feature, Kooday has now begun the process of making our search relevant. Worldwide content is being added every second. Our official search features will be coming soon. Kooday is blazing a roadway into the search engine market, imitators may come and go but Kooday is here to stay!

A relevant search percentage indicator is on our home page. This indicates the percentage of websites that we have crawled to check for relevancy as our crawlers bring new websites to Kooday.

Gold reduction has not yet occurred but is nearing the limit. Could happen at any time. (read last weeks archived news if you have no idea what this is regarding)

Kooday will now start calculating the PayPal portion of profit sharing every second week rather than weekly. Everyone should already be aware that we are no longer using PayPal as our payment processor and eventually all funds will be converted to our new processor AlertPay. The Kooday/PayPal transactions are becoming less each week and Kooday has decided to run the PayPal portion of our profit sharing every second week. Next week there will be a PayPal profit sharing. This does not affect the weekly profit sharing using AlertPay. The weekly profit sharing using Alertpay will continue as usual.

At time of writing the crawlers were at 17.42%

Man, this comment thingie has become one big mess with comments all over the place…

  4. You don't need to know. says:

I just bought Dave Gilbert. Is anyone interested in advertising the search engine script he used? :)

  5. Dave Gilbert says:

Guys then why is it on the web in public view if it’s not functional, come on a little common sense would you buy a tv from the store knowing the channels didn’t work and the speakers got left out, Nobody launches something that is non functional not even in beta, beta’s are normally tested by a select audience behind closed doors so that when joe public gets a looksee they see something that works.

  6. You don't need to know. says:

Nobody ever said it’s a fully functioning search engine yet.

  7. Bryan says:

@dave, i know you can read, but you either dont or have no short term memory.

    quote-
“2. Lacks any mention of Security against Click Fraud.”
There can be no click fraud when kooday is not PPC

    Quote
” the fact the exact same system (Big Daddy Search) had been found to be a huge scam” you guy have used this crap ad nauseum. BDS was PPC, kooday is not.
You guys just say this but show no reasons why. shameful.

why dont you woory more about kooiii and why your alexa numbers are falling so much instead of trying to blast something you know nothing about.

    • Bryan says:

furthermore dave, when you lie as ive pointed out above. you lose what ever credibilty you might of had.

i challenge you and your ilk to create a blog and compare point by point how kooday and big daddy search are the “exact” program.

i find very curious how a titan of search like your self has the time to post on so many blogs.

    • Dave Gilbert says:

Our Alexa is fine at least it’s genuine same as our PR is 2 while yours i believe is 0 .
Click fraud can still occur with CPM systems it involves providing useless traffic (normally member generated ) on a particular ad, Advertisers pay to get buyers to their products not time wasters clicking on the ad to make it look like their getting value for money.

just how does Kooday propose to deliver the millions of impressions monthly every advertiser expects to receive for their money when it has no publisher network, does not provide impressions across a range of niche sites and has launched a search engine before it was fully operational and could deliver a decent set of results for any search query entered setting aside the facts that it does not show signs of delivering image or AV results does not indicate WAP capability and indicates by the rate of crawl for it’s own member submitted directory sites shows a dramatic lack of speed or efficiency.

      • Bryan says:

what about the lies you keep telling dave? what is you angle?
        you have ZERO credibility.

ive caught you in so many now.

        1. 3800 warrant for Brian’s arrest
        2. Big daddy search
        3. PPC
i could go on and on.

        • Dave Gilbert says:

Bryan i have already addressed those issues many times you can attack me all you want i don’t care Brian lindback has 3800 complaints against him and i already corrected my statements .
search big daddy also sold members keywords that they owned the mere fact they used a ppc model is insignificant the fact remains it was still based on keyword sales and it was proven a scam.
your actual advertising model is unclear as i have heard some say ppc others refer to it as cpm and yet others call it ppk whatever that is supposed to be.
But what about the issues that have been raised about Kooday like the lack of company information, the missing tax recording information or the use of a cloaked whois only those with something to hide cloak their whois and company details.
we could argue back and forth all night but i won’t bryan i’m going to leave you guys alone and let you fall on your own swords

  8. Dave Gilbert says:

Actually Dave the reason we state Kooday cannot work is it’s complete lack of a distribution network, the reason we say it’s not kosher is because they have
    1. Cloaked company details and whois information
    2. Failed to meet legal requirements of a registered US company
    3. Failed to declare all rules and conditions members are required to abide by in their terms of service.

The reason we say their search engine is useless is because it
    1. Fails to provide even the basic set of search requirements demanded by consumers
    2. Lacks any mention of Security against Click Fraud.

Now I can understand they have to crawl the web and that takes time, I even stated that to some of the Kooday membership however they replied that the Kooday webcrawlers had been working away for weeks , obviously incorrect.
Now the current crawl state according to the front page of Kooday search is concentrated on the Kooday member submitted sites “Our Webcrawlers are now processing our directory content” this should not take 1 week in fact it should take no more than 1 to 2 hours yet it has been running 2 days so far and only managed less than 30% of the index, if this is an indication of the speed Kooday will crawl the web then it will take around 4 years to gather enough results to get it’s algorithm working properly, meantime the “Advertisers ” will have tired of getting no Return On Investment and seeing their money disappear to Click Fraud.

So you see we had real concerns coupled with the involvement of a person with numerous (3800) complaints against him for shady dealings on the internet and in property deals and the fact the exact same system (Big Daddy Search) had been found to be a huge scam, we felt it our duty to warn the unsuspecting that this venture was most probably a scam.

    • lee hardy says:

      Dave,

Actually Kooday have completed the requirements for a Corp and conform to all FINCEN and FINTRAC rules and regs. I have done extensive research on them and they are cloaked for a reason. All corporations registered in the US and Canada can have their identities hidden as long as they meet the requirements setforth in the guidlines. As they are LLC they hold no tax liability to there members as each member is responsible to thier own. I know you see Kooday as a threat but, then again I would be worried if I only had a $249 script and call myself an expert in search engines. get a grip dude and leave us alone!!

    • David Newman says:

Ok as your point 1 and 2 have already been answered in that you are incorrect.
Point 3 I’m not sure, it is possible that you are correct in that it has not been completed yet. My question then is does it need to be completed before the search engine is released, or only upon release?

Your 2 points stating why the search engine is useless are rather irrelevant because the search engine isn’t released yet. Until it is you cannot make any judgement on that. If you judge based solely on the dinki di setup they put in place just so people could submit links well yeah that isn’t relevant. It was never intended to be…Let’s wait till they have the real search engine functioning before passing judgement

I’m a litttle confused by your statement, “meantime the “Advertisers ” will have tired of getting no Return On Investment and seeing their money disappear to Click Fraud.”
Firstly what is click fraud? That sounds like something that would be used with a PPC search engine however Kooday does not use any PPC so I don’t understand what you are trying to get at here. Advertisers do not pay for clicks! As for ROI, well that is something that obviously they will want and being front page will help but it still requires people to go to their sites.

Your comments regarding shady characters to do with BigDaddySearch. Well I did look into that a bit and there were a couple of people that appeared to be instrumental in it, one in particular, however that is someone that has nothing to do with Kooday. I do know what you are talking about but from what I have seen he must have played a rather minor part in it all.

  9. helen says:

the absolute complexity and also simplicity of Kooday gives me every reason to believe we will succeed
whether we gain 0.01 or 10% of the market or more depends on many factors
lets wait and see before burying Kooday

    • Dave Gilbert says:

I’m sorry Helen are we in different universes how can something be both complex and simple it’s not logical as for the percentage of the market gained Kooday themselves stated they needed 3% of the market share to succeed.

      • David Newman says:

Actually Dave they never said they need 3% of the market to succeed, what was said was that their target was to gain 3% of the market which they believed was achievable. I have also heard it said that even if they did not hit that target and only got 1% of the market it would still be profitable for members. There was no mention I have ever heard that they needed any certain amount to succeed.

      • helen says:

i guess unless you are totally immersed in Kooday as each new piece of info unfolds then you wouldn’t understand. each new development blows us away with how cleverly each step has been thought out. eg the gold limiting is genius – can’t wait for full launch and Kooday have my full support :)

  10. Dave Gilbert says:

I think you have to agree based on the kooday crawlers performance so far ( 2 days and only at 27.39% and no relevancy) and the fact there is no distribution network for kooday advertising this opportunity is not going to succeed

    • David Newman says:

Welcome Dave, heard plenty about you. I think that 27% in 2 days is pretty awesome actually considering it takes Google 48 days to crawl the internet. As for relevancy that wont happen untill after it is finished so not at all concerned with that. In fact it is comforting to know that Kooday haven’t just gone down the road of buying a canned search engine which is going to be just a so so product. I believe that is what you guys have done isn’t it. As for distribution network, I’m not sure what you mean by that, feel free to explain. As for Kooday succeeding or not, well the longer we go the more it looks like it will. It wont happen overnight but it is happenning.

I’m not going to go down the path of having a go at your search engine, or even pretend to know what will happen success or not. Reality is that new businesses take time and in fairness comments elsewhere by yourself and partners have been very derogative towards Kooday. I can only assume it is because you do not want it to succeed. Being in the same business yu should want it to succeed as it may make people look to other engines other than Google for their searches. That could even help yours out.

      • Dave Gilbert says:

as for the canned search engine Dave No ours is not a “Canned” Search engine our engine has been developed for the last 6 years and continues to be developed now while it may include some features found in other search scripts this is purely coincidental as these features were added to compliment our search results, we control our Spiders no-one else and i did a demo today actually adding the Apsense network to our search options, time to create and spider the entire Apsense Network 1 and a half minutes if you would like a demo i can do that too

        • You don't need to know. says:

You mean it took you 6 years to save 249 dollars?

          • Dave Gilbert says:

I have been civil during this discussion i don’t think your weak attempt at humor is called for.!

I don’t know who told you ours was a $249 script and I don’t really care they are wrong.

However I can show you some much cheaper scripts that do exactly what Kooday search does only they do it better and offer more features you might like to check out a free script called sphider which is a full search engine with submission system that could out perform the kooday search.

          • You don't need to know. says:

Very civil indeed. You forget one thing though and you have been told one gazillion times. The current search futures you can find on Kooday are only there for us to check what advertisers have linked to our keywords. Not for your entertainment when you once again find that your favorite city has 6 biz ops linked. Irrelevant links will be removed in due time as well as more relevant search results will appear. It took Google several years before they had an acceptable database of search results and they’re still updating their database as we talk, every single second.

          • Dave Gilbert says:

so you think calling it a search engine won’t destroy your credibility when you can’t actually perform a proper search on it ?

and do you really believe that it can survive the “Years” it needs to build a decent database of results by your own admission it takes years

        • lee hardy says:

All lies dave!!! You bought your script and even wrote a testimonial about it. Why dont you take your lies and hate somewhere else!!!

            lmao you had it removed!!!

          • lee hardy says:

nvr my bad now i see it!! here it is,

Words cannot describe accurately just how powerful this script is at the same time it\’s ease of installation and customization is second to none, when i first looked at the script and saw the price idismissed it as just another weak attempt at providing some sort of search engine i did however try the demo and was shocked to find that it did all that we required plus, 2 minutes later i had paid for our copy without hesitation. If you are looking for a quality high powered search script i urge you to look no further take it from me you will be hard pressed to find anything close to this one. Dave Gilbert Easy Search Live
