Traffic is a key component of success for these three New Search Engines. Each one has different qualities and may attract a different audience but they all have a few things in common.
1. They all need good traffic to be successful by attracting advertisers and make money;
2. They all appeal to marketers that want to make money using them;
3. They are all trying different gimmicks to lure their market.
So how well are they going so far? Here’s a breakdown of each.
The Kooday Alexa Traffic Rank has hit it’s peak for the 3 monthly ranking at 5,238 and now is set to fall slightly over the coming weeks unless traffic picks up again. This is due to the traffic ranking hitting it’s highest points 3 months ago. It peaked at 2998 but since then has had a slow decline to even out around 6,000. Of course if the daily traffic keeps pace with it’s position 3 months ago it will maintain it’s ranking.
Kooday has a good record of paying which has kept its membership content despite several other disappointments with releases being pushed back. It is a credit to Kooday and its members that the traffic has not deteriorated during these times
Overall the Kooday has a steady stream of traffic that should increase when it releases the real search engine (hopefully this week). When that happens it should hit levels much higher than it currently has. The membership is ready and just waiting for what comes next.
KuleSearch is the newest of these 3 search engines but is moving at a very rapid pace. They have advertised that the search engine will be released on 18-Nov-2010 with firs payment from the profit pool on 20Nov10. Despite being so new KuleSearch has some great marketing behind it and the creators have their own social media platform, SoKule, to promote it from.
Sokule has a 3 month rank around 12,000. This has resulted in KuleSearch having an Alexa rank that has absolutely rocketed out of the blocks and it will be very interesting to see how high it will go. It has already hit around 7,500 which is far better than ZibZoom and it may soon outperform it’s parent program SoKule whose peak is around 7,000. The real question will be can SoKule sustain the high level over time. It has only been released properly since 11Nov10.
ZibZoom came in with proffessional marketing, and a prebuilt downline of people from Viral Cash Gone Wild, VCGW, to join the opportunity. There were problems from the start however when it was revealed that the registered owner of ZibZoom was the wife of one of the two owners of VCGW. This was an issue because the members were told that VCGW had sought out ZibZoom and negotiated with it’s management to combine the opportunities. They made out it was a totally seperate entity when in fact it may have been a quick copy after seeing Koodays opportunity gaining momentum. The owners are also considered scammers which doesn’t help.
Despite all this there are still people promoting ZibZoom which looks to be a losing cause. Sure some people will make some money from it but probably only the ones that came into it with big referral lines. Still this is about the traffic not the politics.
ZibZoom had the advantage of a big downline to start with and also releasing their search engine before the others. Propaganda was in full speed with claims they were going to be bigger than Google in a few years. They might not be so confident now. The traffic ranking peaked barely inside the top 40,000 then exited the top 100,000. Since then it has tried to push up again possibly with some advertising campaigns attempting to ressurect the demise of Zibzoom. I do not expect it will pose any threat to Google, Kooday, KuleSearch or many other sites out there.
So there you go the three contenders vying for the traffic. At this stage ZibZoom looks destined to fade into obscurity, Kooday is looking solid, and SoKule the jury is out but it is looking good so far. If you want more information or to see the websites click on the headings.
