It took sometime but finally Alertpay have concluded their investigation into Kooday. The result is that people that lost money got a percentage of their loss back. People that made money did not get anything back. Some people ask if that is fair but really if they made a profit they shouldn’t have anything to complain about.
Here is what the Alertpay email said
Thank you for contacting AlertPay’s Resolutions department.
Your request for a refund has been granted and you may access your account to see the credit. The credit that was applied to your account is the 12.67% of difference between the payments sent to and received from the seller.
The credit you received is the 12.67% of same amount you lost when sending money to that specific seller. Please consider yourself fortunate as not all members will be able to get reimbursed due to the nature of such programs.
Please note for future reference when submitting a dispute you are only to submit once ticket per seller/issue. Opening multiple tickets only results in delays and may reflect negatively on your claim.
So that concludes Kooday, although the site is still up, I suspect only to try to get some poor suckers to deposit money before they find out that the site is dead.
I know there are many that did not put in a dispute with Kooday because they thought they ould only do so if they lost money in the previous 30 days. Now it appears they took into account all payments. I am not sure if they will now accept claims made but I would suggest giving it a try if you lost money. It may only be 12.67% of what you lost but that is better than nothing.
