It seems almost every day there is another ‘next best thing’. Some of these new businesses are soon forgotten in a matter of months, weeks, even days. It is often said down the track, ‘if only we had gotten into that earlier’, or sometimes, ‘if only we didn’t get in that’.
If you want to succeed in creating an income online you are bound to have some failure on the way to success. This will happen to most people so if you find yourself in a position where you feel like you have gotten nowhere do not despair. The hardest thing for people is to know which businesses are going to be worthwhile for them and which aren’t. As we do not have a crystal ball to show us the future we have to base decisions on some underlying factors. These include;
Who is running the company and are they trustworthy
Is there a solid base to the company
Is the income sustainable
Is there a demand for what they are offerring
What is the risk involved
Am I prepared to take the amount of risk for the possible reward.
Think about this for a minute. There are businesses right now I can show you that you will double your money in 67 days. In fact it could be even less than that. If you knew without a doubt that you would get your money doubled, how much would you put in there? Now what if I said there is around a 20% risk that the company might disappear and you may lose the money, how much would you put in now?
This is the thinking you must employ. If you are comfortable putting $1000 into a business, with the potential of it doubling in a couple of months, then you have to be aware that it is considered a higher risk. But many people that took that risk have earned a small fortune. Others have put in a small amount they were comfortable with and grown that.
The other myth you may hear is that you have to get in at the very start to be able to make any money. Well people disprove this all the time. In fact the only time this is really true is when a business does not grow well and its compensation plan relies on referrals. Those businesses often shoot up fast and then come to a halt. Some people make money and a lot do not.
Yes there is another word people do not like is referrals. For a lot of people getting referrals is tough, sometimes bordering on impossible. So how are they going to make money in these businesses that rely on them so much. Simple answer, they wont.
So that brings us to businesses that have been around longer. If it has been going for close to a year or more then you can say it is doing well. Most of these will have enough people talking about them to know if they are reliable or not. This does not guarantee security though, do not misinterpret the longer time a business is operating to mean it is easier or more likely to succeed. But at least you can get a bit of history from it.
So with all these things in mind here are my picks for you to have a go at in 2012 with a brief reason why.
Zeek Rewards – With a daily profit share qualified by placing an ad a day you can get rewarded with zero referrals. This is great for those that are not good recruiters. The other thing I like about this is that it has a solid income source which is the penny auction site. This ensures that there is always going to be money to share. Really good plan and well worth doing
Tagvillage – While growth is slow this is one for the long term. You will not make money as quickly here but if you grow a tag portfolio, as the company expands with the ad widgets you will get rewarded in the long run. Possibly a lot more than other programs. The publisher widget is in testing phase now with live launch due in June 2012. So it is a good time to be building.
JustBeenPaid, UltraXProject & AdailyCash
I put these three together because they are all very similar. They all pay a daily % on your positions purchased and they all have a cycling component after a certain number of days. Justbeenpaid is the one that has been going the longest and is very popular. People say that these will go forever but I am skeptical of that. Still they are worth putting money into and taking that risk. As I mentioned above though be aware it is a risk, never put in what you can’t afford to lose. I also suggest withdrawing your initial investment as soon as you can so you are working with money earned from that point on. It only takes a few months to be doing that.
Overall I like the opportunities that do not rely on having referrals to earn. Too many people join something they can only earn on by having a lot of others join them. Often that is hard for them and they end up earning nothing at all.. It is much beter to be involved with something that you determine if you will earn from it.
After a fair amount of time with some hosting problems I am finally getting on top of things and have the site back up. I still have to get a few things in place but hope to be bringing you some interesting articles in the near future.
Helping others create an income is my goal and 2012 promises to be a great year.
I hope you have enjoyed more success than failures and learnt from any of those.

It took sometime but finally Alertpay have concluded their investigation into Kooday. The result is that people that lost money got a percentage of their loss back. People that made money did not get anything back. Some people ask if that is fair but really if they made a profit they shouldn’t have anything to complain about.
Here is what the Alertpay email said

Thank you for contacting AlertPay’s Resolutions department.
Your request for a refund has been granted and you may access your account to see the credit. The credit that was applied to your account is the 12.67% of difference between the payments sent to and received from the seller.
The credit you received is the 12.67% of same amount you lost when sending money to that specific seller. Please consider yourself fortunate as not all members will be able to get reimbursed due to the nature of such programs.
Please note for future reference when submitting a dispute you are only to submit once ticket per seller/issue. Opening multiple tickets only results in delays and may reflect negatively on your claim.
So that concludes Kooday, although the site is still up, I suspect only to try to get some poor suckers to deposit money before they find out that the site is dead.
I know there are many that did not put in a dispute with Kooday because they thought they ould only do so if they lost money in the previous 30 days. Now it appears they took into account all payments. I am not sure if they will now accept claims made but I would suggest giving it a try if you lost money. It may only be 12.67% of what you lost but that is better than nothing.
Ok, Kooday is dead and buried, the Alexa ranking is finally catching up and has headed south like a flock of geese. People stopped coming, people stopped believing not only in Kooday but also in online business and sometimes even themselves.
It is very easy to blame someone or something else for failure. I’m not saying that we should blame ourselves as certainly in this case Kooday led people on a merry trip that hooked them like a drug hooks an addict. But even drug addicts can recover, one of the first steps is to realize that it is not totally their own fault and that only they have the power within to change.
I have heard some people say that Kooday was the first and last time they will be involved in a company online. I think that is sad that they allow themselves to lose hope for all that they could achieve based on one experience.

ng in our lives are our dreams. They can be strong enough to move us to do extradinary things. Think of all the things we would not have now if people did not follow their dream. All the inventions you can think of at one time started as an idea in somebodies head. Most of them had to face many challenges before they were able to achieve success. Edison had over 1400 failed attempts at making a lightbulb. Aren’t you glad he didn’t give up. In fact when asked about his failures his comment was that he learned something from each one that he didn’t know before.
Sometimes though it is very easy to give up. Seeing no success, often thinking that it may work for others but not you. I understand the frustrations, I really do. But all in all the one thing that can carry you through is a strong dream and desire. You have to want something bad enough that it hurts, because if it doesn’t hurt then you will find it hard to keep going when the going gets tough. Do you remember that song? Maybe showing my age a bit, ‘When the going gets tough, the tough get going’.
The one thing you need to do to help you get on the road to success is define what you really want, what you are willing to do to get it, and how you are going to achieve it. The last part of that really depends on the vehicle you are using. No not what kind of car you drive, the vehicle that will provide you with what you are wanting to achieve. That could be money, recognition, charity, power, fame. For most people the money and recognition would be the main ones.

This is a hard one. One of the strongest desires people have worldwide is to provide for their family. Especially their children. Ok, yes I know there are single people as well that may read this and obviously that may not be your focus, but hopefully in the future you will have a family of your own and you will see that your priorities change.
You see it in the movies all the time where someone sacrifices everything they can including their own life for the benefit of their family. It is not just movie magic, this is common in real life. In recent times we had some of the worst floods this country has ever endured which cost lives as it ran through several towns. One of the stories that really hit a nerve was of a mother and her two sons that were clutching for life in the raging floodwaters as a bystander tried to rescue them. Here is a short version of what happened.

Even now reading this I get choked up and have tears in my eyes, and I’m no girl! Maybe the fact that I have a 12 and 8 year old boy myself makes it hit home harder to me. Maybe it would be the same for anyone that has kids. If you click on the picture you can read a full article on it.
Sometimes we all think we have it so bad ourselves but it is a brave person to claim that there is no one that is worse off then they are.
Sure things may be at a low point in your life and that really is something I can understand. You want to pull yourself out of that, you want things to be better, you want to be happy, you want it to be easy. Nothing is easy though that is worthwhile. Childbirth is hard but it is worthwhile. Building a business is hard but it is worthwhile. Raising a family is hard but it is worthwhile. Changing the world is hard but it is worthwhile.
Do not be afraid of the hard stuff, it is what makes it more worthwhile in the end. The satisfaction of succeeding will be far more rewarding and the challenges you had on the journey will seem all the more smaller than the insurmountable obstacles they seemed like at the time. Some say it is character building.
You are in control of your own destiny. Not me, not your boss, not your friends, not your family, just you. There is opportunity out there for those who seek it, you just have to face the facts that not all opportuities will pan out the way you would like them to. Pick your opportunities wisely and work at them with passion to achieve more than you ever dreamed possible. The rewards far outweigh the struggles.

I expect that none of these represent new money to the site so it does seem strange. I’m sure the optimists will say where there is life there is hope but I think that may be going a bit far. It may have more to do with the database of people on the site. Still that could be backed up and copied. SO I really do not know why it has been renewed for another year.
Still it does not represent anything good for members. No updates have occured on the website at all, no news in this case is not good news.

Also the last bit seems to fit with the update that was temporarily on the website about an owner being in hospital.
I really wish I had better news but the only good news I have is from other sites. Time to move on I think.
The Kooday website is offline and it looks to be that the hosting has not been paid, or allocated.With no word from anyone to do with Kooday in weeks and no payments it is only a fool that suggests this is Kooday trying to fix the problem. Yet I know some people are trying to hold onto the belief that all is not lost. Unfortunately everything points to the contrary.
The kooday domain expires in a month and it was thought by many that was when the site would go down. So why is it down now? I believe it is because the site no longer has any money coming in and there is so many chargebacks through Alertpay against Kooday. I have been asked by many people what has happened and although nobody can say for certain the evidence suggests that the whole time this was a scam perpetuated by Brian Lindback.
The biggest casualty in all of this is peoples trust and beliefs. Many people lost money, some a little, some a lot. I’m talking actual money, not what they had in value of keywords. Everybody is different so while some can write it off as a bad experience, others will feel the effects of the loss for a long time into the future.
Many people have already moved on to other things, some did many months ago, some are only just looking now. I try to keep abreast of oportunities and how good they are. When Tagvillage came out many people committed to Kooday called it a copycat trying to profit from the Kooday idea. Well nothing could really be further from the truth. Those previous customers are all potential business associates that will be marketed to by the company. Bill Starkey the CEO has extensive marketing knowledge. The business plan is based on the video conferencing that the company has. It also has free video email that anyone can use (if you haven’t at least got that get it now, it’s great). The compensation plan is excellent. You will want to get others involved with this.
There is a push to have international markets setup as Wowwe looks to take a chunk of one of the fastest growing markets around. Those wanting a business this is a great opportunity. If you aren’t up for that at least get the free video email.

TFT took off out of the blocks at a great rate and has managed to keep a great traffic volume. It still has an Alexa rank better than the top 6,000 websites in the world. That says a lot about the popularity of the website and it’s potential. Close to 30,000 upgraded members now. There has just been many enhancements announced including increased bonuses, marketing co-op and countdown to the October launch party. The basis for the business is free stuff online and there is a large earning potential with referrals
Auto X Ten
Every company grows at a different speed and this one is going at breakneck speed. Already it has had over 50,000 people signup which is incredible growth. It is a $10 opportunity that is going to make a lot of money for a lot of people. Will it slow down after launch? Possibly but for now the momentum is fantastic and for a $10 outlay it is not much risk involved. Still if you want to get the best benefit from it you would be best to try to refer others. Your returns will be quicker and more guaranteed if you do.
KuleSearch
Kulesearch was first to jump on the bandwagon inspired by Kooday. Although it has not had the success it wished for it has had some nice developmental enhancements and continues to do so. It has a better interface for keyword trading than Kooday ever did but the traffic is not as great. Kulesearch is paying though, I received a withdrawal in about 24 hours after requesting it recently. There are certainly some good things that have been added here with the object of getting traffic.
Cars Plus Cash
Cars plus cash is a one time cost cycler that has large rewards. It is a higher first time cost but with potential to get $10,000 and $20,000 payments it is worth the shot. The first payment you would get is actually $300 so you would then be at break even. Making it through the next level pays you $10,000. With payouts that great you tell me if it is worth it.
Well there are some free parts to some of the opportunities above but here is one that you can join free straight away and start earning from the very first day as well. Mainly because some people may not be able to afford some opportunities so this will give them something as well.

News on the Kooday page today has been met with a lot of skeptisism. The next update will be very interesting to see what is mentioned. Is Kooday pulling the nails out of it’s coffin? One can only hope so.

Earlier this month there was an accident which involved a Kooday owner. He has been released from the hospital a couple of days. This has affected important meetings which were to determine fixes to Kooday and announce some positive news. These meetings have been rescheduled and Kooday is getting back on track. Members can expect information to be posted next week. Payments to AlertPay will still continue as we catch up on these issues. PK has resigned from Kooday as she felt she was not being provided the assistance required during this crises. We will miss her and get our support the much needed assistance they require.
